Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong, who's in Kuala Lumpur for a one-day working visit, is meeting his Malaysian counterpart Najib Razak for further discussions on a series of issues following their retreat in Singapore last month on 24 May 2010.
One subject is the land swop following the move of the KTM railway station at Tanjong Pagar to the Woodlands train checkpoint by 1 July 2011.
At the retreat, it was announced that three parcels of land in Tanjong Pagar, Kranji and Woodlands, and three more in Bukit Timah could be swopped for equivalent value for land parcels in Marina South and Ophir-Rochor area.
Both leaders agreed they would conduct their respective valuations and Mr Lee would visit the Malaysian capital within a month with a proposal for Malaysia's consideration.
They are also expected to be updated on the joint iconic project in Iskandar Malaysia, in the form of a wellness township emphasising the concept of live, work and play.
Included in the Singapore delegation are Foreign Affairs Minister George Yeo, National Development Minister Mah Bow Tan, and Law Minister & Second Home Affairs Minister, K Shanmugam.
