Temporary closure of Jalan Pasir Pelangi

Jalan Pasir Pelangi will be temporarily closed until May 31 for construction works at the Eastern Dispersal Link (EDL) Highway.

Malaysian Resources Corpora tion Bhd (MRCB) in its press statement said the closure will begin from Jalan Pasir Pelangi’s intersection and will affect traffic in Jalan Serampang and Jalan Sri Pelangi 1.

During the closure, crossroads and beam launching works of the EDL Expresssway are expected to commence.

The road closure and diversions are expected to last until the completion of the EDL Expressway on May 31.

Motorists are advised to use the Jalan Sri Pelangi 1 — Jalan Sri Pelangi — Jalan Serampang route to reach Jalan Bakar Batu during the road construction.

Roadusers from Bakar Batu heading towards Stulang Laut along Jalan Pasir Pelangi will also be diverted to Jalan Serampang — Jalan Sri Pelangi — Jalan Sri Pelangi 1 to reach Stulang Laut and Woodlands.

MRCB has placed notices with directional signs along the entire stretch of the affected roads to help ease congestion and ensure smooth traffic flow.
